Mitzvahs
A Rite Of Passage, Handled With Care
We understand that a Bar or Bat Mitzvah carries religious, emotional, and social significance, and we plan with that in mind. Whether a large-scale production or an understated service and intimate gathering, we bring the same precision, resources and expertise to every celebration. The scope may vary, but the importance we bring to the experience does not.

FAQS
How far in advance should we book a Bar or Bat Mitzvah planner?
There is no set timeframe for booking a bar or bat Mitzvah planner. It depends on your vision and the scope of the event, so we begin with a conversation to understand what you have in mind and then establish a planning timeline tailored to your mitzvah.
What's included in mitzvah planning?
Mitzvah planning can include venue selection, design and décor, theme and logo development, vendor and entertainment sourcing, contract negotiation, menu and beverage selection and full-day coordination for both the service and the celebration. Our scope of services is expansive and flexible, allowing us to bring a level of support that best suits your family, your needs, and the vision for your mitzvah.
Can you plan a smaller or more understated mitzvah?
Yes. Gourmet Advisory plans mitzvahs of any size, from large-scale productions to intimate, family-focused celebrations. Our approach allows us to tailor our services to each family and celebration while bringing the same level of care, expertise, and attention to detail.
Do you coordinate both the religious service and the party?
Yes, often we do. When the service takes place at a house of worship, we coordinate closely with their team to ensure a seamless transition into the celebration. When the service is held on-site, we work with the family and officiant to create a meaningful setting for the service and integrate it naturally into the overall event. In either case, we oversee the details, ensuring the entire day feels cohesive and thoughtfully planned.
Do you plan Bar and Bat Mitzvahs outside of New York City?
Yes. Gourmet Advisory plans Bar and Bat Mitzvahs in New York City, throughout the tri-state area, across the country and around the globe.
